hi to all,i am a newbie with this kinds of programs ,but i sent an email to ulead support without any luck, migth be the english i have, but let`s see if you understand me better.
here is my compu.spec
An35n ultra
amd xp 3200+
512 mb 400 mhz fsb
maxtor 40 gigas hardrive 2 mb buffer,ata 133
wedstern digital 15 gigas 2 mb buffer ata 66(both using utra ata tranfer)
and the 15 gigas without write caching.
ati radeon 9800 se
windows xp sp2
and my capture card is winfast tv2000xp expert.
i got ulead videostudio 8 and movie factory 3 all of them came in the winfast card,.
ok now that you know my spec here is the problem:
when i capture using videostudio or movie factory,i see no drop frames i did the tweak of videostudio to show the drop frames, using this mpeg setting (720 x480 ntsc,29.97,constant bit rate of 6000 audio lpcm audio or mpeg audio of 48000 and bit rate 224,and speed quality of 50 %)
when capturing i see no drop frame but when i look to the video is like laggy can`t tell you well but at the line of the characters or the things looks like jaged,is like in the games when they look without antialiasing, and the white looks laging when you see pasing something in the video ,don`t know what is it,but can`t fix it,cuz i see no drop frames when i burn the video to dvd it looks the same way in my dvd, strangely does`nt happeng when i use the pvr software that came with the capture card, but don`t like it cuz yo can tweak many things as you do with the ulead software, please if you can help me i will be happy, and one more thing i can`t patch it with most uptodate patch cuz its screw up the program, start to se frame drops with the vcd quality and with quality of 0% percent, when i reinstall it without patch it came back to normal. thanx hope you undertand

If there is tearing during horizontal movement (I think that is what you are describing), then you have a field order problem.

In the capture options menu, there is an option to change the field order. Use the Autodetect feature, and use the same field order when producing your DVD.
