Hey PSPeople-
I'm looking to upgrade my laptop, and I'm just wondering what heavy PSP users are using these days. If anyone can help recommend a specific computer, or just some specs on memory, processing power, GPUs, etc., that work well with PSP, it would be very helpful. Thanks.

Re: Laptop Upgrade
I will give only one bit of advice on an upgrade. Install as much RAM (memory) as your laptop will take & you can afford. More RAM will make a world of difference.

Re: Laptop Upgrade
Thanks to both of you for the response.
Kathy- I'm curious as to why Internet Explorer is required. I've never used IE on my computers at all, including my years with PSP, and since it's being phased out by Microsoft, it seems strange for PSP to require it now.
Tim- Maximum memory goes without saying in any system, but I'm glad you confirmed it. Are there any specific recommendations for a GPU that you know of?

I don't know why it says IE, but you can pretty much ignore it. PSP will usually use your default browser for all things. And Windows 10 does come with IE 11 for backwards compatibility. So it should be there regardless of which version of Edge you're using.

Re: Laptop Upgrade
flon_klar; You might give a look at Nvidia GTX 1650 Super as an upgrade to what you already have. It all depends on what you're doing. Generally older versions of Paint shop Pro doesn't use the GPU for rendering. Newer versions of PSP may use the GPU.
