Work 2 photos concurrently
I am having difficulty loading two photos into Paintshop Pro X6 so I can work on them at the same time. I want to be able to adjust earlier and later photos of the same location so that they correspond exactly and I thought I might be able to load the second one into another layer so I could switch back and forward between the layers and crop et cetera so that both correspond. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Peter.

You should be able to Edit->Copy the 2nd image, Switch to the 1st image and then Edit -> Paste As New Layer (or simply drag with the mouse the 2nd image from its layers palette into the window of the 1st image),

Re: Work 2 photos concurrently
Thanks migf1,
I had posted an update that I seem to be achieving close to what I want by loading the two pictures and alternating between them rather than trying to put the one in a second layer but It does not seem to have appeared yet. Will try what you suggest. Peter

Re: Work 2 photos concurrently
I'd suggest unchecking Tabbed Documents in the Window menu. That will permit you to open a number of images in your workspace, permitting you to arrange them as you see fit.

Thanks All,
Will try your suggestions. I think I was over-complicating by trying to use layers and have had success just loading 2 photos at once. Use program infrequently so have to relearn.
