Where has my Screen Recorder gone - upgraded to VS 2020 recently

Post by jowauk »

I have often made use of the VS Screen Recorder to capture webinar events and the like. Recently undertook upgrade to VS2020 Ultimate and the recorder tool seems to have evaporated into thin air. Am I going completely crazy ? Anyone else seen this (or more correctly not seen this :) )

Any comments welcome. My upgrade to VS2020 not been a pleasant experience and I am still trying to get it to work with help from VS Corel Support.

For the moment I just want to find out where the Screen Recorder has gone.

Regards

John

For whatever reason, Corel has replaced it with Multicam Capture Lite, which many people find to be a poor substitute. Look for it as a separate program, not under C for Corel, but M. We suspect the replacement was the result of Corel not wanting to pay licensing fees for the previous program.
