Animation?

Post by N-artes »

Is there a way to make moving falling leaves on a photo? I had an older version years ago that allowed you to do so. But do not see a way on my 2020 version.

Are you referring to Jasc's Animation Shop or Corel's PhotoMirage? Quick note PaintShop Pro, as far as I know, has never had animation options built in. It's always relied on external software for that.

Back when Jasc owned the software they included a copy of a software called AnimationShop which lets you make animated GIFs. I don't know if it included specific functionality for falling leaves. It had functions for sending images from PSP to AnimationShop and from AS back to PSP. It's still available for download somewhere. Not sure where.

PhotoMirage was included with a previous version of Corel's PaintShop Pro as part of their Ultimate bundle, it lets you identify areas of the image and some directional arrows to indicate movement creating the illusion of falling leaves. It can still be purchased directly from Corel.
