So I am trying to make a Subscribe Now banner ad to run on my youtube videos. The problem is, I want the ad to run at the bottom of the video, on top of it without blocking the video out. I think they call this a lower thirds ad. I have seen this kind of ad before on TV down in Mexico during soccer games. Because soccer games do not have commercial breaks for 45 minutes, they run these little animated ads the run across the bottom of the screen, but don't block out the game. So my videos are in 1920 x 1080 and I need the banner add to be 1920 wide by about 200 tall with a transparent background. It could be 1920 x 1080, as long at the whole top portion is transparent.
The problem is, I can't find a way to render to transparent in VS. I found some tutorials that say you can do it by rendering to MOV, but it has not worked for me in multiple tests, and also, you can only render one tract, and I need to render multip tracts at the same time. Any ideas?
P.S. Anyone on here an animator that would like do make this ad for me? I will pay.

Is this what you're wanting? If not then a reference to an example YT video would be helpful.

Jungle, if it's for YouTube than you better look at the edit tools it has there.
If non than just place you banner over a flat color, render and chroma Key it over your videos as you did many times.
** Do you make programs for the Hunt Channel? I can sometime view it here in Israel

Simply make a video of your advertisement against a plain colour background render that as a video and then when required put it in an overlay track and apply "Chroma Key" which will make the whole of the plain background transparent
As for an animator - you have one in front of you - it's called Corel Videostudio

You are totally AWESOME! I have never used the Chroma Key thing before because I almost exclusively do outdoor nature videos. It worked perfectly. Always wondered how they did the Green Screen things. Thanks for looking beyond what I was saying and seeing what I needed.BJC wrote: ↑Fri Oct 09, 2020 2:12 pm Simply make a video of your advertisement against a plain colour background render that as a video and then when required put it in an overlay track and apply "Chroma Key" which will make the whole of the plain background transparent

Re: How to render with transparent background?
So, I made a little sample of what I am working on using the Chroma Key function. It was harder than I originally thought because there were so many colors in my little animation. I still wish I could find a way to render to a transparent background, but this will work for the time being.
