Hi Kevin
I would think so, but I just don’t Know, if you are purchasing a disc / boxed version I am unsure what language that will be, generally in English as I believe you are in the UK, I would double check that purchase from Amazon, is it from Corel? and make sure it is the Ultimate version.
If you provide the URL for amazon we could have a look
The boxed / disc version may not be upto date and would require you to download the current version from Corel, there have been several Service Packs since its release, at least that’s my feeling on purchasing a disc version.
Odd that it mentions Italian, take care

From VS 2019 – help Messages should have an option to purchase 2020, is that at a discount price, that would be as a download.
Corel are offering VS at £69.99 including a free templates bundle

The box DVD version - however you acquire it - is always a pre-release version. If you follow software developers language during release it's the RTM (release to manufacturing) version. And because that has to happen weeks before the formal release date (to allow for the manufacturing time line), there is at least one service pack (the difference between RTM and release version) that will be downloaded as soon as you try to use it.
Since the 2018 makeover of VS, you cannot install VS off-line, altho once installed off-line use works.

The download files for VS total more than 8gb of data. If you have really poor broadband where you are - eg adsl1, nominally 1.5mbps - then the download time will be literally many many hours, maybe a day, so a disk set is probably the best option. I've had to use the disk approach in the past for that very reason. On adsl2+ broadband (nominally 24mbps but you are lucky to get 10mbps effective unless you live on top of the local exchange) the download time is about 90+minutes, and if you have a 50mbps fast broadband service the time is around 20 minutes. If you only have dial up, a disk set is the only option you have, and installation will be a nightmare because of the updating over the net that happens during installation. You may have to go a friends place - one who has fast broadband - to install it in a reasonable time frame.

If you try to install from the DVD, the installer will detect that later SP's have been released and proceed to download and install the latest version. So altho having the DVD is a handy backup, all it really does is buy you the licence and get you the installer program to begin with.
Since:
- you get the license key and installer from the download purchase anyway, and
- the download purchase always delivers the latest version and
- good practice and an advisory at the end of the install is to save the downloaded files in a secure place/media, eg a BR disc or removable drive
spending the extra money on a backup disk set is really just a means of avoiding some - only a few - transmission errors, which does happen but rarely.

Your call.

Hi Kevin
I don’t know what to think about the reference to Italian, I searched for 2019 which also had the language as Italian.
As no other person has mentioned this I would think its ok and installation would be in English, I'm sure others have purchased through Amazon.

As mentioned by David all you need is the Activation code and you should be able to download the latest installation files irrespective of having the disc.

Even so I would opt for the download version with the free Templates bundle, I think that may be for Fast Flick?
Then I save the files to a safe location and backup on disc if I feel that way inclined.
