PictoPainting - no save and exit

Post by kenlowe47 »

I am using PSP 2020 ultimate on W10 and I can modify images in PictoPainting, but there is no button to save and exit displayed to save the layer back into PSP. Some suggestions I found in a browser search did not work, e.g. altering the computer screen to different display settings and using the enter key or the tab key. I have tried to repair PTP, but still not working. Is there a fix somewhere? Many thanks, Ken

I can see the button beneath the style icons, but there is no way to manage the screen to get access to the button.

I had the same problem with my 17" laptop screen....

I found that once the image was processed, I had to drag the PictoPainting window to the very top of my screen...it was only then that the scroll bar would appear on the right of the PictoPainting window, I would drag the scroll bar down as far as it would go & then I was able to access the Send & Close button....

Hope this will work for you...

For the times that I have not been able to access the Send & Close button, I've used the Tab key on my keyboard once the Reset has been highlighted...

The first time you press the tab key, it will go to Preview Style; press again, then to Reset; press again, to the hidden Send and Close - once its at the hidden Send and Close button, hit the Enter key to accept.

I have tried dragging it all over the screen and no change and no sidebar. I have a 22" screen and that is usually plenty for editing. I will try some of the other options tomorrow. many thanks for your input.

Just had to try the tabbing tonight and it worked. You just keep tabbing until you know that it is behind the view icons and then hit return.. Thanks Flutteringby.
