Hello there, first post, little nervous.
I am trying to combine normal video's with 360 video's into 1 project. I am working with VS ultimate 2020 23.3.0.646.
With normal video's i mean video's from a smartphone (mp4) and a drone (4k). A lot of photo's are included allso, but this is not a big problem to combine.
I allso have 360 video's taken from my Garmin Virb (4k) and i would like to add them in the project.
When i do this, i can choose to make the project 360, or not. When i choose 360, everything else changes into 360 too. So my photo's, and normal video's change into 360 as well.
Is there a way that i can combine the different items, but keep the original settings?
I searched google, corel knowledge, the manual, but all i find is how to edit 360 to standard etc, but not to combine them.
Just to clarify a little bit more, i am in a tiny little bit of hurry. We had a weekend with motorcycle friends of which one is diagnosed with cancer. I would like to make a video with all the stuff i collected from him. That's why all the different types are included.
Can someone help me out a little here?
If it's not possible, i have to search for another way to make something, but at least i would know that combining is not the way to go.
Thanks in advance, Fred.

Re: Combine normal video's with 360 video's?
Hi Fred
I do not use 360 video nor do I have a drone footage or Iphone
The problem I see is that Video Studio can only create one type of output file for the project
So if your project has mixed types only one type can be used for the final video
Saying that I tried the 360 library sample, inserted to timeline added images and some Mpeg4 video with no problems, all clips displayed ok.
Maybe others on the forum that user 360 video can help
Video Studio works best with a Constant frame rate, your footage may well be using a variable rate and that may cause some other quality or sync issues.

Re: Combine normal video's with 360 video's?
Late reply, just got back from a few days trucking.
I was a little afraid that would be the conclusion, but it could be that i was missing somekind of setting. For the moment i am converting all 360 videos to rectangular, i think this is the best option for now.
For the frame rate, that will be an issue too, but will have to play with them to see what fits best.
Thanks for the reply, helps a lot!
