When I view a photo on my computer, from say my Pinterest page, then copy that photo, paste as new image in PSP, the colors are so different from what I was looking at.
I have adjusted my monitor (several times) so that it comes as close as possible to what is printed out.
What I always seem to want . . . is for the photo to print out the way it was on the web page.
I use all the color adjustments I feel comfortable using in PSP and the image I have messed with looks nothing like it originally did and when it prints out, even though the colors may be more correct, detail is lost in the photo.
This is so annoying! HELP!

Go to File / Color Management / Color Management and change the settings (enable, disable, change profile, etc.).
