Help With Recent Files Section of File Tab

Howdy,

Not sure if I'm missing something or just dense, but how do you remove the recent files listed at the bottom of the VideoStudio X9 file tab? I'm guessing it shouldn't be that tough as I believe it used to be in preferences or something in the previous version I had and you'd just change the value to "0" but I just can't seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated.

We cannot remove the recently used list, besides it only contains the last 4 used projects, that for me does not cause any problems, on the contrary I do use the feature and find it useful

But there is no way to disable the list.

I wonder why it is a problem for you to see the last 4 projects you edited - unless you have been editing something and do not want any one else to know - in which case just open and save 4 'safe' projects and that is all that people using the programme will see

I have been using VideoStudio for 20 years and do not remember that function being available in any of the previous versions

The options via file to select the last 4 used projects (a quick launch) has been available for as long as I can remember
Way back many years, not on my pc to check but cannot recall a version not having this feature.
As I mentioned I find it very useful.

The option we are talking about Trevor is option to remove the 'recent' file list at the bottom of the 'File' tab - which has never been available since I started with Version 3 around 20 years ago - I did not say that that list has not always been there and indeed yes I find that list extremely useful
