Thanks, Trevor! I appreciate, so much, how much time you took to help me.
1st suggestion, No luck.
Next, I was going to un/re/install, but when I clicked "uninstall" it offered "Repair," so I tried that first.
(A side note which may help someone down the road: You suggested I uninstall any old versions. I did have Pro X6 installed, so I did a manual delete before repairing 2020. There was no uninstall option because (I assume ) it is old and and not written for Win 10. Manual delete instructions can be found on COREL website. Don't drink before doing this!

In this process I had to delete the X6 folder in Programs and this took me a few hours to figure out. I kept getting permission errors even though I was the owner of the folder. I won't bore everyone with the details, but I tried A LOT of things I found online. In the end, the only thing that worked was this: Open the folder you want to delete, open that folder, and keep opening folders until you get to the lowest one in the tree. Delete that lowest folder, and keep going up the tree until you've deleted every folder. For whatever reason, I could delete folders this way, but not the topmost "mothership" folder. I'm sure others will want to tell me that I didn't have my permissions set correctly somewhere along the way, but trust me, this is a MS Win 10 issue that is all over the internet and the answer always given is "change the owner and permissions," which rarely, if ever works. Okay, back to the Chinese issue.
After "repair" had finished, I opened the program and Bingo!, we're speaking English now. Upon opening the program, it also offered the update, so I did that. It updated with no issues (no hang up with Amazing Titles). So again, I opened the program and DRATS!, we're back to Chinese (but remember, only in some parts of the program as shown in my OP).
I'm thinking I should actually uninstall it (and not repair it) and try again??? Thoughts?
Thank you so much for your help!!!!
