I think this has been asked before but I can't find it for VS2020.
If I download overlays from the 'Get More' screen, they appear on my desktop as Zipped .png files (these were the freebie ones)
Where should I locate the unzipped .png files?
I tried putting them in C:\Users\XXXXX\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\Bonus Content\Image\Object
As this is where other .png files reside but this does not work.
Apologies for another Luddite question.

Re: Overlays in 2020 (Get More)
Hi John
Can you confirm which file you downloaded from the Get More
I assume as you refer to PNG that it was the Graphics pack, however Zipped png does not really make sense.
When we download and install the free Graphics packs or the Video Template Bundle 1,2 or 3, eventually they are saved to a folder on the desktop, these files should be .exe type files.
For Graphics there are 30, BG01.exe are backgrounds, CP are Colour Patterns, FR Frames, and OB are Objects
Each .exe file when run, ( double click the file) will install several ( about 5) images, These are saved to here
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\VSPContent\Decoration
Now the installation is complete, unfortunately each Exe has to be run to install
The clips populating the VSPContent\Decoration will be available from Video Studio graphics library, for 2020 that has been renamed as Overlays, it’s the flower icon on the vertical menu.
Just to add there are 6 files called DoMore_Title_01.exe to _08.exe, I would ignore those.
The first 4 are additional Fonts, the last two are additional Title clips, I do not think they are required using 2020 which has had a library makeover.
So again I do not understand the reference to unzipped png files?

Re: Overlays in 2020 (Get More)
Hi John
Those are PNG’s having a transparent background, can be used on the overlay tracks in the same way as Frames from the Overlays library
First import the files to your media library, you can create a new library page for those files. Then simply drag to the overlay track, set as Fit to Screen
I don’t see those available from my version of Video Studio
Can you provide a screen shot
What version of Video Studio are you using?

Hello,
I am using 2020 (with latest update.) First Click was here.
Then, to test, I clicked here for the freebies.

Re: Overlays in 2020 (Get More)
Thanks John
I did not look at the purchase options, now I understand, they are shows as Video Overlays although they are png images
Treat them like any other image but insert to the overlay track.
As I mentioned there are other free packs available one called Graphics which contain a lot of lower thirds type overlays.
My image shows additional library folders, Background to Objects, these are created when installing the Graphics pack
