DMF4 and Memory Leak?

OK all maybe somebody here can help as tech support can not..

My copy of DMF4 was working just fine and I saw that a new update was online so installed 'Patch_2' and ever since I am unable to create MOTION MENUS with out my system freezing up when it starts making the chapter menus.

I can create disc's with out motion menus w/no troubles?!?!

And viewing the 'TEMP' files it seems to freeze up when it tries to make the first video files motion menu.. the disc menu plays back just fine...

And there is no way to only have the motion menu on the title menu only! and static chapter menus on sub-menus.

The files are from DVD+VR disc's recorded on either an 'iLo' or 'Philip's' DVD+VR recorder and the streams pulled from the original disc using both 'DMF4' and 'DVD Decrypter'.

I have done a full reinstall deleting all 'REG' listings and TEMP files as outlines by Tech Support!

I did uninstall and reinstall [again for the forth time since purchasing in May05] and did not install any of the 'Patches' and now everything is working again...

Now the question is.. other than 'More DVD Burner' support what other things did the patches "FIX".
