import VOB chapter points turn to TITLES??

Workshop works great with MPEG-2 files but having trouble with
VOBs whether from files or discs if they have any chapter points in
the IFO files...

they behave as Titles and not as chapters in WS2

What were chapter points are now separate titles and the player
has to seek for them causing "freezing" in the middle of program material.

If there is a way to stitch titles together I have not found it.

I think this is a CRITICAL issue in the software - it will make 10 chapter points into 10 TITLE sections - I need to work with VOB files OFTEN. Why does the software do this? I would like to know and also if it can be fixed in a new version.

If there is something I am missing I will recant but I have not found the soultion inside Workshop itself.

So...
Now I am going to have to get another app and edit the IFOs, to remove all the chapter points. More lost time and trouble.

Well after posting the above I found another post that stated
this is a commonly known issue - fixed in MovieStudio 4?
But not this program - ?

Oh well. Fix it people.

The easy workaround is to use some freeware tool to demux your VOB files into an M2V video stream and AC3 / PCM audio stream. Then import those into DVDWS instead of the original VOB files.

the import DVD of MovieFactory 4 (and VS9) is new since it was release much much later than DWS2. The import DVD function of DWS will be impleted on the next version i believe....
