I upgraded from VS Ultimate 2019 to VS Ultimate 2020 on my new computer. I had no problems with VS Ultimate 2019. However, VS Ultimate 2020 has been a nightmare! When I select a video background that comes with VS Ultimate 2020 or if I import a video that I want to edit, I get the screen below in the preview window. And if I try to render the video in this preview window, it looks just like the preview window.
I have done all of the steps that Corel has suggested. I have even let them take over my computer and do all of the steps again. At this point, I am frustrated and thinking of getting my money back. They have elevated my issue to level 2 but they haven't responded with any kind of help.
I am reaching out here to see if any one has any suggestions that I might use in order to get this fixed. Corel also told me that there have been some people having the same issue as I.
Thank you for all of your help

Re: Video Studio 2020 Glitch...PLEASE HELP!
Screen shot shows an MTS file in the Video track and an obvious video issue. MTS may be the problem Try converting it to MP4 and see if that works.

Hi Roach
And welcome to the forums
As you know from your registration we are experiencing issues with the forum e-mails, as such you will not receive any post notifications so best to return here on a regular basis to check for replies.
OK
As you are also having problems with the programs Background Video samples (Mpeg4) it does point to your environment and not CVS 2020
I would suspect your graphics drivers, even though new may need updating.
As for Video Studio
Please confirm - Have you installed CVS 2019 on the new computer? If so does that work ok?
Does that clip view show throughout the entire length or just from the last part.
Does the problem show with every MTS files you use?
It does appear to be either a corrupt video file or a codec issue although MTS are pretty bog standard.
Corel do recommend using a codec pack called K-Lite, details here on the Corel Knowledge base, although refers to not being able to import MTS.

First - please right click the clip on the timeline and choose properties, what are they?
