Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
First, I think it is important that Corel began adding several features to PSP because it is falling behind in relation to Photoshop, Affinity Photo and others photo editing programs. This is my wishlist for 2022.
1. Add more Adjustment layers, like "Recolor", "Selective Color", "Black and White", etc.
2. The option to create live filter, like a live filter for the Gaussian Blur option.
3. More options to process photos in color spaces different from sRGB. The ability to do edits in some color spaces and later be able to change the photo to another color space.
4. This I have asked before: the 'clipping warnings" - the ability to see in different colors the pixels that are too bright or too dark.
5. Fix the bugs that are there since several versions back.
Later I will add some others items. I hope Corel is listening.

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
Another item for the Wishlist for PSP 2022:
6. Add the option to process panoramas automatically, i.e. the ability to just tell PSP the photos you want to be processed for the panorama, and PSP automatically align the photos and produce the panorama. And after the process is finished, the user should have the option to fix any perfective problem and crop as necessary.

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
Could PaintShop Pro 2022 add .PDF to the "save as" list of file format options?

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
PDF isn't an image format.
You can use a PDF printer to do that (like PDFCreator, BullZip, DoPdf, Primo, etc).

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
OK, so I have two scenarios.
On my main home PC as specced on my details and using a 1TB NVMe SSD for C: Drive, it's not that slow to open to be fair at around 16-20 seconds.
However, I also have it installed on my work laptop and frequently use it for minor editing of screenshots which means I open it quite frequently during the day. It is here that it is very slow opening. The window opens reasonably quickly in around 20 seconds but then it can take between 25 to 70 seconds to become usable and allowing me to paste in the image I want to work with. If I'm disconnected from the Internet opening can be reduced to around 30-35 seconds overall suggesting it is polling Corel for information prior to opening. I've tried disabling the splash screen but it makes little measurable difference so I prefer it on to see that it is actually opening and now I'm trialling disabling product related messages.
I've installed both 32 & 64 bit versions and tend towards the 64 bit as it seems faster.
I've been using PSP since the very early days when it was JASC shareware and purchased nearly every Corel Version with only the last few versions becoming noticeably slower. Whilst I appreciate the programme is somewhat more complex than it used to be and I equally appreciate I'm using a sledgehammer to crack a nut on my work laptop, I still find it a little frustrating that it is so slow to open.
I suppose my original request on the wish list is that it would be good for PSP to open locally without having to poll the internet or whatever it is doing.
If you have any recommendations to speed things up, I would appreciate them.
Thank you

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
Under “Lens Correction” on the “Adjust” menu, we need to have the ability of selecting camera body and lens independently of each other instead of having to choose from an associated list of predetermined lenses for that body.
Currently, there is a predetermined list of specific lenses for each specific camera body. That “List” varies with which body is selected. Some FX/full frame lenses can only be located and used if you select a body other than the one you used. Many times, you can only find the desired FX lens by selecting a DX/crop sensor body.
Example:
I’m a Nikon shooter and shoot with both FX (D610) and DX (D7100) bodies. I recently acquired the D610 and it is now my primary body. I use the Nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D AF-VR ED, a full frame lens, on both bodies. This lens, though actually a FX lens, is only found when selecting the D7100 body. The same applies to a couple of other lenses in my kit. In all fairness, there is a Sigma 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6 lens listed under the D610, however, it is NOT the same lens.
Professional photographers often use different lenses on different bodies (DX lens on a FX body) for a variety of reasons. The inability to pair bodies and lenses without selecting the incorrect body/lens is restrictive and makes no sense.
We need to be able to pair the correct specific body & lens combination used in creating the original RAW/tiff file. Having to select the wrong body to get the right lens should never happen.

The same color replacement tool as in CorelDRAW 2021:
https://www.coreldraw.com/en/product/coreldraw/ - just roll little down to about 30%, or look this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrGpLt7-KAk

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
That link just brings up the commercial blurb for CorelDRAW 2021 without any specific reference to color replacement that I could see. You might want to write a little more about what that tool does exactly. If it is a new tool in DRAW -- which of course costs many times what PSP does -- I would be surprised if Corel were prepared to transfer it to PSP.

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
Hmm. That *is* interesting. In fact I just bought DRAW 2021 last week, but hadn't been aware it made color replacement so easy!
But I still fear Corel will not want to put what looks like a major feature of the much more expensive DRAW into the cheaper PSP -- at least for some versions to come. But as you say, you never know...

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
Be nice if it was modular and we could turn off and on features we don't want or don't use and thus speed up loading time. If we then try to use that feature which is turned off it could turn on and restart PSP to load it.

Re: [Sticky] -- Wishlist for PSP 2022
I would like to be able to create a tool bar of my plugins So I don't always have to go to effects then plugins and then the product folder then finally the plugin. I sometimes use multiple plugins on an image and using a tool bar to select them would save time.
