Hey there, long time no visit. I've got a question. I shoot a lot of real estate with a drone (I'm a Part 107 pilot). I edit things with PSP X9. I add an outline of the property lines. This is pretty straight forward on smaller rectangular lots, but I'm also asked to shoot bigger lots that are complex shapes. I've been using the Freehand Select tool shift clicking to get straight lines to create the initial Selection on it's own layer. Then I use Select Selection Borders to select the inside of that Selection, then fill that. I wind up with a line around the area that I made a Selection. However if I don't draw it just right I have to back up and start over, there isn't really a useful way to bring in one side without affecting the other. Is there something in PSP that can work better? I'm also a Waze map editor and the Places tools makes it seem like this type of thing would be so easy. If you want to try it out you can go to https://www.waze.com/en-US/editor choose Practice Mode and play around with it.
If PSP doesn't have this is there another reasonably priced Corel product (less than $100) that does?
Is this vector-ish type thing available in PSP

Here's some screen shots of what I'm talking about in the Waze editor.

The Pen Tool. If you only need straight edges use the line mode. Make sure you have auto-connect segments turned on. By default PSP will only create a line with two points. But with connect segments option turned on it'll let you just click on the image and auto connect each point with a line letting you make complex shapes.
Most vector editors work this way, like Inkscape which is free

That's a lot better than what I was doing. Thanks for the tip. I might have to check out InkScape again. I lost a lot of programs and bookmarks when my last computer died.
