I created a one hour video by combining 12 unrelated videos. Friends are leaving my area and I have made individual videos for each of the outdoor trips we have taken (hiking, canoeing, kayaking, etc.) My issue is even though I put a title picture of the sequence and name of each trip, when I merge them into one mp4 file there is no way for them to jump immediately to a specific video. Suggestions?

You don't state how you want to distribute your video to your friends, e.g. DVD, USB, YT, etc. That being said, using VS, you could create a DVD with a menus and chapters. Another approach would be to simply upload your video to YT and add the menu into the description box, e.g. https://youtu.be/DfTztXfe0pY , and then your friends could easily navigate your video.
