Premium slide templates

I just bought the VS2020 that included a bonus of "Premium slideshow template bundle" I did get an email that had 2 download links; one installed the VS2020Ultimate and the other said it was installing the template bundle. However I don't see where these premium templates are, how to use them, are they different from normal templates included in the VS2020Ultimate, etc. Am I missing something or are they just mixed to the template tab and I have to figure it out myself?

The file that installed the program will be approx. 7 mb, it is the web Installer aka stub to download and install the program I suggest you keep that safe along with your serial number.
The other may be an instant projects, and may be suitable for Fast Flick, can you tell us the name of that file.

Go to the library – third icon down for Templates, is there any indication of the "Premium slideshow template bundle"
Also open Fast Flick to view the gallery is there anything relating to a slide show.
Viewing Corel's web site it does look like a FastFlick bundle

If you check My Library at Welcome, the purchased template will appear.
Click to download and install.
The confirmation is in Edit \ Templates\ Custom.
And some are also in Fast Flick 2020.
The same thing is required every time you reinstall VS 2020.

I may be confused...
I don't see anything listed when I click on "My Library" at the welcome screen, after first clicking on "Get More".
At Edit/Template/Custom, I do see 12 objects: Some are: "Autumn.VSP" "Color.VSP" "travel.VSP", etc.
I have not check fastflick yet because I rarely use that.

Click Repair Purchase in the help to enter your email when making a purchase.
After checking it appears in my library.

Storage location.
It is saved in My PC\Local Disk(C)\Users\User Name\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\VSP Template.

The template package that wlopatin has received was FREE with the purchase of Video Studio and as such will not show in the my Library section, nor will it show in Restore Purchases.

Installing the free package will save folders, one for each template to the hard drive, somewhere
These folders could be installed to several locations, Unfortunately Corel have changed their policy on the programs sample locations.
The templates should show in the Templates library aka Instant Projects library.

wlopatin I believe the templates will be Fast Flick types and should be used in Fast Flick to get the full benefit of the template.
However we can drag any template to the timelines which will give us an insight to what the template does.

As i said earlier i do not have these templates so cannot say where they are installed, not that it really matters but could help in identifying them...

If you drag a template and hold Shift then drop on the timeline it will show as a single clip, that clip should be the VSP used within the template.
Now right click that clip for Locate on Computer, this should show the location of all 10 templates in separate folders, each folder having a unique template name.

wlopatin I have noticed there is a difference in the template descriptions from the purchased version and the free version provided when buying Video Studio, so a little difficult to say just what the free version contains?

Yes I realise you were referring to the paid template but the OP does not have that.
I have also noticed that the Free and Paid for templates appear to be different, whether that is just an error in advertising, or are they different I don't know, if so Corel need to make that clear.

I opened FastFlick and attached the templates that I see. there are so few, I can't believe these already include the bonus ones...

A picture paints a thousand word.
The first 10 came with Video Studio, we should all have those.
The next 7 are from the new free template pack, I can only imagine if the free templates had 11 then there are 4 that may not be Fast Flick templates and only available from the Templates Library.

There are more free templates from the Welcome screen - Get More, 4 packs are available, I am not sure if any are Fast Flick templates, they may all be Instant Projects, and yep it may get confusing as to what is what.

Your Fast Flick only shows 10 templates as installed by the program, I see 20, maybe the extras are from 2019?

I have only 10 projects there too Trevor plus one called V53, though I have no idea where that came from. And VS 2020 is the only version of of Video Studio on this particularly computer since I had to reinstall Win 10 a few months ago...

In this folder
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Content\EditingStyle
I have 10 called Project-01 to Project- 10
and 10 called T-01 to T-10, to I believe these are installed by 2019
also V-53

It can be confusing knowing where these templates are saved to on the hard drive with changes in 2019 and 2020 with the introduction of the C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Content folder.
Then we have this folder
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\VSPTemplate, this is the original folder used by all versions for user defined templates.

and for 2019 and 2020
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio 2020\EditingStyle\InstantProject where I also I see the T-10 templates

Finally this folder has appeared with 2020
C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Corel VideoStudio Pro\23.0\VSPTemplate

Can you check this location to see if there are 14 folders (T-01 to T-10) + ( V-01, V02 etc)

additional Instant Project templates and a Graphics folder are available to download from the Welcome screen Get More options
all free, there are three Template Bundles and one Graphics Bundle.

They are installed or rather extracted to folders on our desktop, from there we have to install each .exe file that creates the templates to the VSPTemplate folder
Graphics to the VSPContent folder, will show in the library Overlays category.
