PSP2020 - Print Layout error R6025

I have been using Paint Shop for over twenty years, since it was produced by Jasc. It has always been my main graphic program.

I ask if in the 2020 version you had this problem:
- I create an image with some layers also vectorial
- Save the image in "pspimage"
- I try to print the image with "Print Layout ..."
- The error message I am attaching appears
- PaintShopPro 2020 closes
- I reopen the saved image, but as soon as I execute any command, the same message reappears immediately and the program closes
- Even if I restart the computer the problem does not disappear. The image becomes unusable. Lost job.

It is a very serious problem, because it causes the loss of the image.

- I opened a ticket with Corel
- As I have already seen several times (even with Video Studio) the answers are quick, kind, but standardized. It seems to exchange messages with a software.
- I followed the usual procedures (without conviction): clean the temporary files, clean the PC, reinstall PaintShop.

I print often with the Print Layout function and I don't have such a problem.
It is perhaps related to your specific file.

I can't reproduce the problem either (PSP2020 win8.1 x64).

According to Microsoft, that error would be often caused by bad programming. Since neither me nor Jean-luc can reproduce the issue, maybe (just maybe) it is not PSP that causes it. Are your printer drivers up-to-date?

Another idea would be to update the Visual C++ Runtime on your Windows (make sure you D/L the one designed for your specific version of Windows).

I don't print often. This problem only happened twice, but in a short time, the only two times that I needed a print in the last few days.
After the first time, the Corel service made me reinstall the software. But the problem immediately reappeared.

The strange thing is that the file, saved before printing, is no longer accepted by the program. It appears to open regularly, but almost nothing can be done. The same message appears. Also if I try "Save as ..." the program closes instantly.
Given the seriousness of the problem (loss of the file), I immediately wanted to share it.

I seem to read in this forun other problems with the error R6025.

Maybe you should first try to reproduce the problem with other files of yours (keep a backup of them, in case they got screwed up too).
