Hello,

does anyone know if PSP keyboard shortcuts are saved in an editable file?

I believe they are saved in the registry and are not easily deciphered. Or specifically, I cannot decipher it without a lot of work. If you save the workspace to a file, you'll see it's just a regular registry backup with a bunch of spaces between each letter, maybe UTF-16 encoding.

Here's what I did, I exported the Workspace file and called it test1. Then I modified the keyboard by assigning the key "1" to the 360 Photo. I then exported a second workspace file and called it test2. I used HxD hex editor to open both and compare them. A single key value was changed in the hex codes.

I believe it's [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Corel\PaintShop Pro\Version\UI Customization\EN\MainFrame\Keyboard-0] the Accelerators key. It's a binary type value written in hex. Unsure what they all reference.

Thank you Levi!

I made a Ps shortcuts set for Gimp and I was thinking of doing something similar for PSP, but after your informative reply I think I'll just make the changes in a default workspace and save it with a different name.
