No Captured Audio at all after Direct to Disc Burn

Post by arball »

The main reason I purchased Ulead's Movie Factory 3 was its ability to directly convert VHS to DVD while bypassing the hard drive.

I have attempted this many times using the "DVD Long Play feature" and LMPC Audio (not MPEG). I add a menu, and specifiy some background music for it, and then burn the disc.

I am using an All in Wonder 9800 Pro Vid Card in my machine that nearly doubles all the specifications and recommendatiosn for the software, and have inputted my VCR to the composite (RCA Cables). When I originally hit play on teh VCR, before recording, I can very clearly hear the audio coming out of my speakers, so aI know that the Audio is coming in.

Under Advanced settings I continue to make sure that the checkbox for "Capture Audio" is selected.

After burning the disc, I play the movie on my DVD-ROM drive on my PC and it all looks fine and dandy, with a nice menu AND the background Audio music I had selected playing. But, as soon as I click Play, all bets are off....video is fine, but there is absolutely NO AUDIO playing...

I open the "AUDIO_TS" folder and see ABSOLUTELY nothing in there. I then installed the two new patches for Movie Factory 3 Disc Creator, and still no luck.

If anyone has any answer to this or is able to help me, please, I would be greatly appreciative.

You'll never find anything under AUDIO_TS - That' only for Music DVDs.
All files are under VIDEO_TS (the *.vobs).
