PSP 2020 Ultimate, Windows 10, Browser doesn't matter
Clone selection box scatters all over image i'm working on. Immediately goes away when i select another tool. Happens almost every time.

Hi Sam,

I too have occasional issues with the Clone brush in PSP2020, to the point I have to go back to X7 to do the cloning. However, I cannot reproduce those issues on demand. And they are not always the same. Sometimes the clone brush indicator disappears completely and dosen't come back no matter what I do, other times the brush clones stuff irrelevant to the indicated source, and other times it seems to ignore the Use All Layers setting. Those are my most common issues I can remember off hand with the clone tool.

I hope someone will be able to consistently reproduce all, some or most of these issues, so we can file a bug report.

SamC, more information needed about what you are doing.
Are you using Clone brush or Smart Clone brush?

Can you do a cropped screen shot to show what you mean by scattering all over image? I scaled my image down (mouse wheel) so it only occupied the important area showing the Clone Tool and the first part of the clone settings. At this time a full screen screenshot showing Materials palette, Layers palette is irrelevant.

Can you also list the steps that you do to get a repeatable problem. Only then can we repeat the steps to see if it can be reproduced otherwise we are just guessing what you mean.
