In both 2019 and 2020 generally I am getting "encountered an improper argument" when rendering the automusic track.
Any suggestion?

"encountered an improper argument" has reared its head from time to time, appears quite random and therefor difficult to pin down
Usually can be replicated by using the same approach or key pushes, then we simply avoid doing that till Corel can provide a fix
So we need more precise details of what you are doing
The settings you have used in Audio Music will help.
If you are able to create a short project using the libraries samples that cause the error, you could share that with us
Otherwise as much details as to the project and key / mouse use.
