You don't really give us anything to work on. Are you using X6 on a 4K capable computer? Is your monitor 4K? What size is the monitor? Have you tried increasing the zoom size in XP (not that I really know how to do that with XP)?

Hi, miltk
could you update your Profile and add the PSP version you are using?

Later versions of PSP do offer some UI customization (text inlcuding), starting from version 2019 I believe (or maybe 2018, I don't remember). So the short answer is: no you cannot do it in older versions.

However, as JeanLuc mentioned, you can customize the text for your entire system, by configuring Windows itself. That's however totally unrelated to PSP.

BTW -- Win XP was a fine OS, but it is a security liability now. PSP x6 will run on Win 10.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

i don't think my computer is 4k capable. it uses the onboard intel graphic. it's an older model
32" monitor

my personalizations of the desktop are pretty large. if there's no font size setting in preferences then that's that i think

Windows let you customize the overall DPI scaling and it affects everything (a.k.a all programs). But if you set the scaling too big, you will start having issues with truncated text inside dialogs, so you will have to experiment (results depends on your video card and your monitor).

Just google for "windows 7 scaling" or "windows 7 dpi settings" or similar.

AFAIK you can still go from Win 7 to Wih 10 for free. Although doing so is at best a sidegrade, you do get security updates with Win 10.

done all that in personalization, desktop view, and display size. maybe it's just there's so much stuff like menus and options that fill the screen. maybe no way to avoid it. i need younger eyes is what i need

I use PSP 2018, and have been using PSP since the 1990's. PSPx6, like PSP up through PSP 2018, does not have adjustable fonts in its UI. That started with PSP 2019.

We oldsters with presbyopia need younger eyes -- or cataract surgery.

Hi, check out this post:

Although it talks about version X8 (will probably not work with X6, but maybe it is worth a try)
