Corel's website broken?

Post by Berry Gordy »

Was interested VS 2020, since it finally supports LUTs and might be useful to me, but the VS 2020 Ultimate page has no pricing listed for either the full or the upgrade version, and nothing happens when you click on "buy". Am I the only one seeing that, or is it just me?

Assuming it's not just me, maybe someone from Corel will see this and fix it - you're losing sales, fellas

It must be just you since I also have no problem getting to the "Buy Now" page which show the discounted price, $79.99 CAD in Canada

It must purely be a US thing - this is what I see when I try that page:
Untitled.jpg
No price, and when you click on BUY NOW, nothing happens. Not to mention that "incl. VAT" makes no sense in the US anyway

Oddly enough, I get the same thing when I go through corel.com, choose products, then VS. I get that exact page, and when I click the Buy Now, it goes blank for an instant then cycles back to the same page with no price.

And I get the same thing when I click on the link in RobertOZ's post above.

Probably not just you . . or Ken
Corel has mirror sites around the world, with re-direction to the nearest ( :!: :?: )one. And one of those is in Australia.

Thanks David. But I would have thought that if I am being re-directed to the Australian website I would have got a price, probably in Australian dollars. But I was merely recycled to Buy Now!

Anyway, I have reported this our Corel Video Studio contacts who should be able to sort it out.

I think so too.
I tried it yesterday, but it was an empty box when I entered the purchase now.
However, after a day it now appears normal.
It seems to be a temporary paralysis.
This is South Korea.

Next day and I'm still getting the same thing. I guess my email to the Corel execs has not been acted upon or the problem is more difficult than we thought!

Hi Ken
I do not appear to have a problem at this side of the world
I choose Buy Now and it takes me to a window to review the order to eventually pay £69.99

There is also a free Premium Slideshow Template Bundle, if i choose to continue.

Thanks Trevor. I guess the reference to VAT which appears on my static page is an indication something is stuck here and in North America. We don't call it VAT though understand what it means. And they don't have it at all in North America...

I just tested it again but it is still not working...

I ran into this sort of issue several months ago, trying to get a copy of the 2020 user guide, which the admins may remember.
One thing that came out of that experience (what a description!! but it fits) was that browser caches can have this sort of effect: what you are seeing is a cache image as it was previously , not necessarily what it is now. Clearing the browser cache helps with that.
