There is nothing "natural" about the quality of the rendered video being significantly degraded. What are properties of the source video file and what are the project properties that you're using? Did you let VS2018 match the properties of the source video?garjobo123 wrote:Able to insert animated Powerpoint into VS. Saved as MP4. Works Ok, but naturally, quality has downgraded once in VS.

Actually most of your posts are riddles - never any useful explanation but only irrelevant commentsgarjobo123 wrote:talking in riddles.
There is a significant reduction of quality or text ( jagged edges ) and the animated shapes.
Please note - my project properties will naturally suit the 4k footage i brought across. I cannot then alter these setting to match the powerpoint presentation i want to insert.
If you do not know an answer there is no need to keep referring back to the ole' classic ' what are your settings' - as previously mentioned - no-one seems to be able to do anything once settings are known.
Never fear, won't bother with this. Clearly VS cant do it.

Nothing is clear in your thread(s). In your first post you only mentioned Powerpoint now you are talking about 4K video.

Re: Insert animated powerpoint into VS2018 - good quality?
You were asked to provide the properties of both your source video and that of your rendered video. This you refused to do, just as you've refused to provide requested information in your many previous posts. Your postings clearly show that don't know how to make a video in VS and you're too proud to cooperate with those who've reached out to help you. That not withstanding, you've now determined that Adobe Premiere Pro better suits your ill-defined needs! Note that as you can't use VS, you definitely won't be able to handle NLEs such as Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.garjobo123 wrote:Please note - my project properties will naturally suit the 4k footage i brought across. It's clear that you haven't the foggiest idea what you're talking about as DaVinci Resolve is used by some in Hollywood to make professional videos for film and TV. However, undoubtedly it'll definitely not measure up to your high standardsgarjobo123 wrote:will take a gander, although the words 'free' do not appeal
Earlier I wondered if "you actually want an solution and aren't simply trolling." Now we know, you are simply trolling us as you refuse to provide basic information when requested. As you've "reported this post", please also report yourself as you are the most obtuse and uncooperative member on this forum.garjobo123 wrote:Rude and totally unhelpful comment, Cantuk, perfectly clear in this thread. I have reported this post. Please refrain from jumping on the bandwagon and either address the problem with powerpoint or don't wade in.
Yes indeed, please do STOP trolling this forum and run along and annoy the people on the Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve forums. Thanks.garjobo123 wrote:Please.STOP.

I do not understand the reason for that given that you have just reported the topic.
I have locked this post before it gets any further out of hand.
