Hello all,
I'm new here. And new to photo editing software.
I'm having problems opening a .cr2 raw file. Camera is Canon T7. PSP is 2018. I have installed the PSP2018_Update1.exe
When I open the file in 'camera raw lab' its all shades of pink. I've attached an example.
This happens for any raw file I try to open. I have opened the files in Canon DPP, and that worked just fine.
If some one could direct me to a solution for this I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thank you much.

Re: Issue with opening a RAW file
Is your camera model in the supported cameras list?

If not, that might be why. RAW is fun because it's not fully standardized. If your camera does something differently than PSP is programmed to understand it will do it's best but usually will fail because something is off. Like being recorded in BGR format instead of RGB and no flag telling PSP to make the conversion. It's hard to know for sure.
That's also why Canon's software handles it properly. Naturally they would support their own cameras and formats better than a third party would.
Did you buy the ultimate bundle with AfterShot? AfterShot has support for Canon T6 for sure. T7 might also be supported.
One option would be to use CDPP to export a TIFF file for full color support up to 16-bits. Then you can open those in PSP. Or if you can convert the format to Adobe's DNG format which is a bit more standardized as a RAW format.
