snappy, zingy edit ideas - 70's bloke looks for 2010 edits!
Any thoughts, ideas, examples of what VS can do ( yes, looked youtube etc and other Filmora )
Looking for a short, snappy, zingy, up-to-the-minute! titles..aka...serveral people walk into shot - boom, camera,lights on display..they all sit/stand...i want to edit it..like i say..snappy..cool effects..lasting 10sec...
Only option is..VS...getting creative...aka...each person i literally have to decide too..zoom..next one...i put a filter on..next one i blur a little..or use shakey effect...
Any options for a lazy! method...auto edit feature? throw in the clips and press a button.
Any examples please let me know.

You could start by being a bit more precise and less . . . in your descriptions of what you want to do, or are experiencing. Make it readable

Asik1 - your screenshot looks nice but mine VS2018 does not look like that..only about 6 options in Custom.
It would be fab to see others users creative work - looking at aftereffects and their 'glitchy' effects and many more...seems VS may struggle or at least need to put a lot of work in and be very creative to come up with anything matching Aftereffects.
I wonder..whether..worth my time to try aftereffects free trial....then create something ..an intro..and then save it..and then bring it into VS? what'd you think..worth the effort...come up with a load of issues when i render it all in VS?

You don't seem to have even tried creating any titles in VS. Perhaps you should do that before trying Adobe After Effects so that you can compare the two.garjobo123 wrote:I wonder..whether..worth my time to try aftereffects free trial....then create something
Have you at least watched any of the numerous tutorials on how to create titles in VS?

Believe me i have tried and have indeed created in the past ( 2008 much more stable VS programme back then! ) opening bits and pieces - quite creative if i say so myself - but oh boy! was it time consuming!
I have seen your youtube link, your camera of the later videos appears very good quality indeed but your opening titles, like the standard countdown b/w counter is very generic, I am looking for something along the lines of MOTION ARRAY plugin for PremirePro ( i checked and sadly have to pay to add in..not really keen on learning a new Pre.Pro tutorial to be honest esp a trial version for 7days!

It's legit that you are looking for one click that will do it for you.
VS has few clicks that you don't fancy, that's also fine.
VS give you some tools to cook, but it isn't cut and chew your stack for you just to swallow, so it's just OK to go to the AE restaurant.
** PD has gazillion of shared projects, go and taste it's cuisine.

You are not the only one who has trouble understandingsome of "asik1" posts because of his use of unexplained abbreviations or references/translationsgarjobo123 wrote:i appreciate the reply but do not understand the food lingo sorry. Taste the cusine? where?

ASIK1 - when you say PD has plenty on offer - to what are you referring too? I am keen to find the source of a programme which will let me tinker with some templates - prodad isnt that great..very shabby when compared to Adobe etc
Unless..you know of a PD which does cut the mustard please enlightenment.

Indeed the vintage film leader is generic but it isn't a title at all. Film leaders had a specific purpose and still do, hence they are very generic. Titles come after the film leader.garjobo123 wrote:your opening titles, like the standard countdown b/w counter is very generic
Not sure if you can replicate all the Motion Array effects in VS as I don't think there is a comparable VS plug-in. Do let us know if you find a method in VS to do this.garjobo123 wrote:I am looking for something along the lines of MOTION ARRAY plugin for PremirePro
