NewBlue Drop Shadow not working

I'm fairly new to Videostudio 2020. I'm trying to add a drop shadow using the NewBlue Video Essentials pack that downloaded with VideoStudio but it has no effect. I tested a few NewBlue effects on the same image and they worked fine.

I watched a video that covered Drop Shadow and Chroma Key. The Chroma Key was only when using a video overlay where the person doing the tutorial needed to adjust the chroma key.

In any case, the ChromaKey filter also had no effect - though it was not the appropriate effect for this object. I just added it to test it.

Any thoughts on making this work.

Confirmed, NB Drop Shadow is not working, none of the presets are active, neither can you create your own drop shadow, will submit a bug report

No so quickly...
Have you tried to dropshadow on a png file?
In order to have it to work on video with the NB chroma key, you have to apply the full white mask first.

I tried a drop shadow on both a png and jpg. Neither works. We added a shadow in a custom motion and that works.
