Hello.
I have a video of myself singing and I thought it would be cool to put text on the wall behind me. The text would be blocked by me if I stepped in front of it.
The way I thought to do this is to somehow input the full background into VideoStudio. Then put text on the video, but it will only show up where the saved background appears.
Maybe copy the part of the video that is not background, (me), and then place it in front of the text and background.
My guess is that VideoStudio doesn't have this ability, but let me know if it does, or if there is other software that could do this.
Thanks.

Re: Newbie question - overlay options
Hi
You should try the Mask Creator to isolate yourself, if the contrast is good between you and the background should make it easier for the Mask Creator.
Then you can add a background and text
Background on top track, text on overlay 1 and you on overlay 2
Your best option would have been to record yourself against a green screen then you can add any background
If you do not have a green screen take a photo/video of the background, the background does not move so can be an image.
Then take a video of you singing in front of the same background, mask creator to isolate you to show over the same background, if that makes sense.
