I use psp5 and yes I know it's old.
I have psp7 but I never bothered. 5 is fine. 32bit.and if neither, does corel x6? I have that too, but I like the simpler psp version

do older versions of psp, 5 &7 specifically, work with the surface pro pen.

I used PSP 7.04 for years, liked it even better than PSP 5, which I also used.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.
