Studio 2019
I made a screen recording in NVidia shadowplay, droped itonto the timeline, did a speedup 1000%, and now the clip wont export,
It gets to 90% of the 20 minute clip (now about 2 minutes) and the rendering just "stops" - It's clearly unhappy about somehing occuring in the stream at a point near the end. but why just stop . is there a place I can find any error messages, because I see no error, the export just stops.
Rendering silently just stops

Re: Rendering silently just stops
VS has been crashing silently for years (see https://forum.corel.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=62625). There is no meaningful VS logs available although you ought to check Event Viewer for any relevant events.zaphodikus wrote:is there a place I can find any error messages, because I see no error, the export just stops.
Try converting the clip and then re-render.zaphodikus wrote:I made a screen recording in NVidia shadowplay, droped itonto the timeline, did a speedup 1000%, and now the clip wont export

Re: Rendering silently just stops
tletter , that definitely rings a bell.
The last time this happened it was the same problem , render jsut keels over. Screen recordings using NVidia Shadowplay do not play nice with videoStudio if you alt-tab a few times during the screen recording. I am pretty sure it was the same thing a few years ago that I struggled with because full-screen games probably change the resolution of the stream, and the encoding perhaps just starts a new stream or somesuch.

yep, must remember to run ffmpeg.exe -i rawfile.mp4 reencodedfile.mp4 on files that may cause troubles.
