Capture.PNGI am trying to save a png of a mountain with a png layer. I want to take both images into a slideshow program and place a Sun between the layers and animate the sun to "rise behind the hill.
Is it possible to save both images together without the two images being merged or am I going about this task the wrong way?
I hope this makes sense,

Re: Saving a JPG and a PNG as a separate layer
JPG and PNG are single layer image formats. If you want to save one layer as a PNG and the other as a JPG you have several options - here are two.
1) Hide a layer and save a copy as one format, hide the other layer and save as the other format.
or
2) Duplicate the image, delete the background layer and save the transparent image as PNG. Save the original image as a JPG.

Is it possible to save both images together without the two images being merged
Save the project in pspimage format. This will retain both images (layers) in a single file.
