Open and save a webp animated file
I just bought PaintshopPro 2020 Ultimate in hopes that it would open a .webp file similar to the way my old Animation Shop 3 opens gif files but no luck in doing so. The disc came with 5 other programs which I have not yet installed because I do not know what they do........so my question is : Are any of the programs on this new PSP2020 capable of opening the .webp animated files and saving them?

Re: Open and save a webp animated file
I don't believe so. PSP isn't really made for animation. And they haven't developed any webp animation software that I'm aware of.
As for the software that comes with PSP Ultimate
GRFX Studio - is a photo effect software
PhotoMirage - does do animations but not like AnimationShop. It's more like moving/flowing photos.
Painter Essentials - is a digital painting software
AfterShot - is for RAW images and photo management
With time and patience it might be possible to use some commandline tools that Google provides along with scripting to get PSP to open each frame into the main editor and then put them back together. I'll give it a try tonight and maybe tomorrow have something to demonstrate.
