Change line width without selecting the pen tool ?

Post by Killer133 »

Is there a way to change line width without selecting the pen tool or using menus? What I'm saying is that long ago - when dinosaurs ruled the earth, and PSP was a JASC product - I recall there were line width options on the materials palette. It doesn't make sense that I have to use more than one tool for this. I'd like to select an object, change colours & line width in the same place. Is that possible anymore?

Not sure if this is is what you mean but if you are working with a vector object you can bring up the vector properties dialog box by double clicking on the vector object in the layers palette.
Click for larger image.

Thanks for the quick response Kathy. It will be better than what I am doing. I've been using PSP for decades but in an extremely limited manner. Now I (we) have more time I want to learn right from the basics and hopefully unlearn some of the bad habits I've got into. (What I'm saying is, I reckon I'll be posting on here quite a bit).

Just to add, I do research before posting! Couldn't find this in the Help files when searching for "line weight" :(

Thanks again.

Stay safe!
