Hi,
I have split the screen into six using the template creator, used "ctrl" to add the six videos to their respective tracks, but I'm having trouble scaling them the size of the "boxes"
If I scale them at the beginning of the track so they all fit into the boxes, then after a few seconds they all expand out again to their original sizes.
How can I select that the scale applies to the whole track please?
Thanks,
Steve

And now the "split clip" isn't working.
I've highlighted the track that I want to split, hit the scissors icon, and nothing happens.

Hi
I would assume that Customise Motion has been set for the size and position of your clip
If you have used the preview screen scale mode to resize and position then that may only set the beginning
Click the yellow star and choose Customise motion
Right click the first keyframe ( highlighted in red) and choose Copy and Paste to All, that should set the last frame as first
Not sure about the scissors, don’t know what you are trying to do, but if changing the clip length then drag the end of the clip, or try positioning cursor using the white slider below the preview screen or tweak the clock

Re: Help with scaling whole track in split screen
Hi,
Thank you, that done the trick for scaling.
I want to split one of the six tracks so I can delete the first 10 seconds of it.

I think I'm beginning to realise my old Core 2 Duo E8400 @3Ghz isn't man enough for this stuff.

Hi
To trim the video clip
Try using the Mark in Mark out F3 / F4 square brackets to trim the clip ( adjacent to the scissors)
You may create a gap, so right click to remove gap, then resize the end to fit
http://lata.me.uk/corel/trimbar/trim_bar.htm
Some details here using the bar below the preview screen
Scroll down to Trimming Tool
Hi Steve, post updated
Forgot about this option, there is a Slip icon, this will allow us to slip the trimmed video to change the Mark-in and Mark-out, ( start and End of the Clip) retains the duration of the clip
To the right of the Undo / Redo, select Slip then drag across your clip, watch the scrubber below the preview screen
