Video Studio 2019 Adjusting length of slides

Post by Badger51 »

I am using Video Studio to prepare a slide show.

Is there a way to batch process slides to adjust the time for the slides?

It is very cumbersome to do so manually, each slide at a time, and this lacks uniformity.

thanks

Hi Badger51

I assume you mean the length / duration of the images

Alt + A will select all clips - or - Shift + click on the first and last clip.

Right click the selection for "Change Photo Duration"

Thanks....I'll give that a try.

I find the user manual quite limited in it's usefulness.

I've taken a look and can select all or a group of slides, but the change photo duration is greyed out, if more than one slide is selected?

Then you are doing something wrong, highlighting a range of images, then right clicking does show the Photo Duration button as available and clicking on the button opens the Photo Duration box

Unfortunately, we are still unable to upload attachments

I'm in the timeline... As noted, I can adjust a single slide..

Highlight the first clip in the timeline, hold shift key and highlight last clip in timeline, all clips should now be highlighted, place cursor on highlighted clip and right click, drop down box opens and change photo duration should be available, click on button and Change Duration box opens.

Do you have Ripple Editing applied as that will disable the Photo Duration option

I saw in VS2020 there was an option to automatically scale the list of photo files to the music duration (not in myDVD - in VS). This was also usefull. If only those freezing and exiting bugs were resolved...
Best regards
