Cannot reinstall VS pro x5...needs pro x4

I had VS Pro x5 on my system, but Ithe system crashed and I am trying to rebuild same. I am a licensed holder of VS Pro x5 serial (nr ********* serial number removed by Admin). I called Corel and they sent me the download link for Pro X5. However, while installing it, the install program asked me for the serial nr of Pro x4 or x3. I have neither, yet somehow, a long time ago, I was able to install and use Pro x5. I called Corel but they said they can not help me as the product was out of maintenance.
How can I install Pro x5 now given I have no Pro x4 or x5 serial nrs?

First off, welcome to the forum. You'll notice I changed the email address you inserted to remove the @ symbol. That is for your own security as there are many bots roaming the internet looking for random email addresses. This way people will see {at} and know it is meant to be @.

I've also deleted your duplicate post. The notes accompanying the registration process here would have told you that your first two posts need to be approved by a Moderator before you or anyone else can see them. So you need another post now to be approved, and after that, you can post freely and without approval.

As for your question, did you register X4? If so, you can go to Corel.com, log in (there your username is your email address). And you should see a listing for Registered Products and their serial numbers. X4, X5 and others should be there.

First...sorry about the s/n and thanks for removing it. Also thanks for removing the duplicate post. I have already been to my account and this is how I knew the serial nr of Pro x5. I have tried all my other serial nrs (but pro x4 and x3 were not listed) for any other app where a serial nr was listed. No joy. I just do not understand how I was able to download, install and use pro x5 years ago. I also do not understand how Corel was able to provide me with a link to download pro x5 and not be able to provide me with a serial nr of pro x4 or pro x3 (or some other nr that pro x5 Update would except).
