Just curious. I purchased Video Studio Pro 2018 Ultimate and now have Video Studio Pro 2019.
Am I correct in believing all the extras from 2018 Ultimate are not available to me in the 2019 non-ultimate version?
eg. Can I install the extras and the 2019 version will find them?

Re: Ultimate vs Pro
Each version of VS is a stand-alone suite.
Pro is the program Corel writes, with a limited set of plug-in extras. Ultimate is the pro version plus a set of plug-ins that Corel has licensed from other vendors, and some of them are really useful: like the Mercalli motion stabilization filter.
There is no way to upgrade a specific version from pro to ultimate; if you want the features that come with ultimate, then you have to buy the full ultimate version.
You can have more than one version of VS installed on your computer - I currently have 5 on my desktop (for reasons I won't bore you with) - and they can be all pro, all ultimate or a mixture of the two.
