So far I've only been playing with Mercalli for a couple of days and I have a lot of questions:
- How can I kick off the Analyze process across all of the clips in the timeline? Having to come back to the computer every hour or two just to press the Analyze button on the next clip is a real time-waster.
- What do the different options mean?
- Some of my video is coming from a Galaxy Note 10 at 1080p, with it's own built-in image stabilization software built in. Results of applying Mercalli on top of that have not been great. Is having stabilization at multiple stages something to always avoid or, do I just need to find the right settings?
- I've tried VideoStudio on two Workstation laptops: (1) a Lenovo P50s, with Core i7 / 16GB / NVIDIA Quadro M500M ) and (2) a Lenovo P 52, with Core i9 / 32 GB / NVIDIA Quadro P3200 Max-Q. In both cases, the Analyze function of Mercalli feels very slow. I've tried launching VideoStudio by using the "run with high performance NVIDIA processor" option (see screenshot). However, when I look at the Task Manager, I see that VS is only using "GPU 0", which I understand to mean the built-in Intel graphics instead of the NVIDIA GPU. How do I get VS and Mercalli to use the GPU?
