Transparent Overlay PNG with basic motion does not appear

Hello. I'm new to Visual Studio. I'm running into the following issue.

I have an image on overlay track #1. On overlay track #2, I have a transparent png with text.

I've set the transparent overlay with basic motion to slide from the right into position. When I use the scrubbing tool, the overlay slides into position perfectly. However, when I preview the project, it does not. If I output a video, it does not appear as well.

If I remove the motion, the text on the transparent png appears properly and in the output video.

Any idea what the issue may be?

Basic Motion is Customise Motion, just does not have all the extra settings as Advanced Motion aka Customise Motion
It would be less a confusion if Corel used one name

If you add any png from the Graphics library and apply the Basic Motion we see the same problem.
Have not tried using 2019 as yet

But yes it is a bug.

Hi lata - thanks. I'm responding for dlevy (my girlfriend). The font she is using is only available in Canva - where a couple other graphics were created. We've emulated what we need with standard text. We did not try a custom motion with the png yet. We sent the bug to Corel directly but have not heard back.

For now, we used text as suggested, as closely matching text created in prior images. It works but is definitely not ideal.

Same issue as described above in Ultimate 2020. Basic motion on any Overlay track does not work. And does now show in rendering. Fade in does. Fade out works. Advanced motion works. Ran the cleanup tool to remove 2019 four times. And get an insufficent memory error (19241:20:1) and that is with 16 GB of memory. Rand update on Nvidia K2000 video card, and on computer. its truly a beastly bug.

In VS 2020, this feature happens regardless of the file format. It seems to be a definite bug.
Works in 2018 and 2019.

As mentioned before, Yes there are problems using Basic Motion, Advanced Motion does not appear to have any issues, so use that and not Basic Motion, Advanced Motion is far more versatile.

If you have not reported the problem to Corel Support then you should do that as Corel are not going to read this post

I have reported this to Corel, but there is no answer.
Only automatic tickets are sent by e-mail, but no reply is sent.
Corel reports other problems, but doesn't respond.
What seems wrong with Corel.

We do not work for Corel so cannot comment on the company policy, I don’t suppose Corvid19 is doing us any favours at the moment

That's right. 2019 cannot give a good score. There were many problems.
But Basic Motion, is that it works. And Corel's response
