Create a brush tip

PSPRo 2019 Ultimate.I see the Create Brush Tip dialogue box,item 5 below tells me to complete the fields in it but that does not tell me how to go about creating a new brush tip.(Well it may do but I need clarity on this)
1 On the Tools toolbar, choose a painting tool.
2 On the Tool Options palette, modify the settings for the brush.
3 Click the brush tip drop-list to display current brush tips.
4 Click the Create Brush Tip button in the brush tip drop-list.
5 Complete the fields in the Create Brush Tip dialog box.
6 Click OK.
The new brush appears in the brush tip drop-list

Hi Ken,

There are 2 Create buttons: http://prntscr.com/rsthow

The 1st one (the one your above steps refer to) is for modifying an existed brush & save it as a new brush. E.g. modify opacity, hardness, density, angle, etc and save it as a new brush.

The 2nd button, lets you save as a new brush whatever you have selected in the current layer. I think that's the one you are looking for: https://prnt.sc/rstntc
