Unable to open Dialogue Edit Path Window in RotoPen filter
I'm new to CorelVideo (previous Adobe Premier users) and recently installed the Ultimate 2020 version. After watching a number of training tutorials, I started with the RotoPen filer feature to do a simple map routing. After inserting the RotoPen filter in the map, the plan flies along the default path. When I clicked the "Customize Filer" after selecting the RotoPen filter, it is supposed to pop a new Dialogue Edit Path window to allow me to modify the path. Unfortunately, there is NO Dialogue Edit Path window open. After a few tries it failed.
I then tried other filters, there is NO issue pop up new Windows except for RotoPen. I called support, first support had me running around for a while still NOT resolved my issue. Tried the 2nd support, it is was not helpful either.
Wonder if anyone had this issue when using RotoPen filter that the Dialogue Edit Path window NOT opening ?
Your assistance will greatly be appreciated.

Roto-Pen works well for me. Make sure you are using it correctly as alluded to above.

Yes, I was following the tutorial as per described trying to create a vacation route of cities I visited. When I clicked the Customer Filer, I was expecting the Dialogue Window to open but NOTHING happen. I did see the CorelVideo icon on the Taskbar flashed.
When I tried other filter which has dialogue window pop up and it WORKS.
3 Tech Supports were not able to help me. One of them told me that he had the same issue and had reported to the Development Team if there is a fix for it. There was a recent update came out just over a week ago, I installed it and this function is NOT working for me.

So, you apply the RotoPen Filter to your clip, then open the Options Panel, and Click on Customize Filter and nothing happens, does the Customize Filter button "highlight" when the cursor is placed on it or is the button greyed out
Did Corel support have you uninstall and reinstall the program, if not give that a try, because there is no obvious reason why that should be happening, graphics drivers need updating maybe.
To receive notification of replies to your posts, open User Control Panel, Board Preferences, Edit Posting Defaults and select Yes
You could also try ProDAD support, they provide the RotoPEN plugin to Corel

Regarding the apparent lack of email notices re replies that have been commented on.
I had an off-board mail discussion about this with Ken B recently. Apparently, a server upgrade has been in progress for about 10 days, and one of the things either forgotten by the tech doing it, or has not done yet, is the email response mechanism.
So for the moment, the only solution for posters is to keep checking the forum topic. I guess we will know when the email issue is fixed when replies again are notified by mail. Ken could not even hazard a guess as to when that might be.

Regarding Roto Pen, this is provided with the Ultimate package installed from the Bonus Features folder here:-
Your download installation files --- \64bit\BonusFeature
Double clicking the "setup_Bonus.exe" file will install that package again, takes a while, but worth a go.

The RotoPen "Customer Filter" was mid grey, Once I place the cursor over it, it lightens up to white which means it is an Active button. I tried again today, it is still same fade - dialogue window NOT pop up

Please note that I tried other filters such as Region Scope, Motion Blur, etc. The respective NewBlue Region Scope and NewBlue Motion Blur Diaglogue Window OPENED WITHOUT any issue

When I preformed the FIRST installation, it took almost 2 hours to finish which was much longer than I ever experienced when installing a software. I'm not sure if it is normal.
If it comes to that I have to re-install to fix this only issue, I will do that. One of the reason I bought this product is the RotoPen feature be used to do route mapping which is a lot easier to achieve than using Adobe Premier/Premier Element, Beside, CorelVideo video has a lot more easier and richer functionalities that are suitable for my need.

You need to locate where VS was downloaded, in my case it downloads to C:\Downloads
When located, open 64bit folder, then open Bonus Feature, open Plugins_X64, then install RotoPen_x64
When located, open 64bit folder, then open Bonus Feature, open Plugins_X64, then install RotoPen_x64

Today, I removed CorelVideo 2020 and then re-downloaded and re-install the product. I then tried the RotoPen filters again and the problem still exists,
Corel Tech Support is asking me to send them the MSINFO32 output as well as a WinAudi output. After looking at the output and found both files has a lot of sensitive info such as IP address info.
Wonder if it is SAFE to send both file to tech support in gMail over internet ?
Or Does Corel has a secured site where I can upload it to them to access ?
PS: My PC was maliciously attacked once last year because I failed to keep my anti-virus software updated for a few months, it was costly and painful experience as it took me some time to clean all the files. I simply don't want it repeat.

Generally malicious attacks are our fault, clicking on the wrong e-mail link, easily done, I know from experience
IP addresses are “two a penny”, your router probably changes that as part of the inbuilt security so I would not worry two much about that.
Just sending an e-mail probably has the IP address embedded somewhere.
As for a Corel secure site I would not know and if you are concerned you should ask Corel
