I have a Panasonic NV-GS250 and VideoStudio 9. I have downloaded updates. The error message I receive when trying to capture is "Unable to switch to Capture Mode. Check if your video capture driver is working properly. Failed to build a preview graph. Error 15001:33:1 and 15023:4:2."
Is there a way I can overcome this problem or will I have to purchase another program? If so which one will work with my panasonic?

I note that your camera has a USB 2 port, and so should be able to support transfer of high quality video to your computer. That being said, I have no idea how this might be done with your particular camera. Have you checked the manual? Can you capture with the software which came with the camera? Was there any other program disc which might install drivers that will allow USB capture?

I also note that your camera has a mini-Firewire port, and that is what most of us here use -- indeed, most of us HAVE to use -- to transfer high quality video. But as usual. the camera does not come supplied with a Firewire cable. And of course your computer has to have a Firewire card to receive the signal. But if you have such a card and can buy the cable, that is the way I would go.
