Mixing Sound Is Impossible With VideoStudio 20

I have multiple tracks
1. a video track
2. a voiceover track
3. a music track

I can edit the plackback and exported file's volume for the voiceover track, but it's impossible to mix the music track. Nothing I've done so far works.

No matter what I do, I can't edit the music track volume. I right click on it and completely edit the "adjust volume" button and bring it down to 3 or 4 instead of 100.

If I click the "sound mixer" button, and play back, it sounds perfect. But as soon as I unclick the "sound mixer" button, the volume is ALL THE WAY BACK UP HIGH TO 100%.

And if I export video, it will reflect the sound level of when the "sound mixer" button ISN'T pressed. So the voiceover component of the final exported video sounds perfect but THE MUSIC TRACK COMPONENT IS STILL WAY TO F***ING LOUD.

Honest, how in the world does this software sell? you can't even do the most basic functions without jumping through some sort of hoops or going onto a board like this one, to beg experienced users for help.

Sorry you are having problems with 2020 and the audio levels
Unfortunately there are some issues adjusting the sound levels, Corel are aware and should provide a fix asap I hope
Can I assume you are using the trial version with your comment” Honest, how in the world does this software sell?”
Interesting that you are able to manage the voice track levels and not the Music track

One problem seemed to be associated with the auto fade option
F6 Preferences – Edit Tab – Apply audio Crossfade – I would deselect that option
Then if you drag and clip over another you would manually apply Fade-out and Fade-In to create the Xfade
I do not know if deselecting the F6 option would affect the volume levels as I do not have 2020 version 391 installed

Yes, you are correct; I am using the free 1-month option. I assumed that this version is equivalent to the final paid version (although I could understand if patches and fixes would pushed to paying member first).

I'm glad that it's a known problem and that the Corel team is dispositioning / rectifying the issue.

Corel have released a service patch for CVS2020 purchased version
Unfortunately SP's cannot be applied to the trial but i would suspect they may update the trial at least they should do.

I have a copy of the trial and will download again to see if anything has changed in the files sizes, I cannot install the trial and would have tested.
