Adjust Volume not working in VS 2020 pro

Adjust Volume not working in VS 2020 pro
I dragged in a music clip to the timeline, it renderered and all that. Then I right clicked and chose Adjust volume, changed it from 20 to 12, OK. Then went back to the timeline and it didn't change. I tried this at least 10 times and Adjust volume is still not working. Am I doing something wrong or is it another glitch with 2020.

Ok, I just found out that if you choose to right click on the music track and select Adjust volume and change the number there to another number and click ok, That doesn't work. So I tried this...Click the Sound Mixer button on the Timeline toolbar, and in the Options panel, adjust the volume slider....... and that worked.
