I was editing and discovered a change thay I hope is a bug and will be fixed - or maybe I am missing a setting?
In the past with VideoStudio 2019 Ultimate, I dropped my soundtrack first and then added clips. I used to be able to play the clips with sound and pause playback where I wanted to trim the clip. I could then left click and drag the clip's right edge back to the playback bar and let go... a perfect transition with the soundtrack.
Now with 2020 the moment I left click on the right edge of the clip, the status bar is gone so I lose my desired end point.
is there a fix for this?
PS - I hope this isn't a duplicate post - something went wrong on first attempt to post!

I am using the Chapters - "C" on the keyboard to achieve this.
First going through the music and clicking "C" down the tempo, then adjusting the clips to the chapter marks, and at the end - removing the chapters

Hi chuck1026
Apologies for the late reply, I think I was away on a cruise when you posted about this issue
Yes dragging the clip trim bar has changed and the playback head does indeed move to the mouse position.
We can trim the clip using F3 / F4 or hitting the square brackets (preview screen adjacent to the scissors)
Make sure the clip is selected and the ends will be trimmed to the cursor position.
If you are in Project Playback F3 / F4 will set the Project Preview Range, showing an orange bar at the top of the timeline
Trimming using F3 / F4 may be quicker than dragging the ends of the clip.
