Has anyone ever gotten the "New Blue" audio filters to work?

You know, I get it that there unpredictable glitches that may occur because technology is so varied. But when you produce something that NEVER works under any circumstance, it begs to question why you even produce it or advertise it. Such is the case with the New Blue filters. I have used VS on multiple desktops and laptops, and on every single one of them, trying to use the New Blue audio filters causes VS to instantly crash. Not once have they ever worked. If this only occurred one system, I would say that it was hardware compatibility or an installation issue. But since it happens on many different systems, it cannot be attributed to that. It is simply that the software does not work.

So, I am wondering if ANYONE has been able to use these tools without it causing VS to crash?
I'm sorry for my sins Jesus, please forgive me. https://sorryformysins.com

Yes. I use the New Blue Audio filters. The NewBlue Cleaner, Noise Reducer, Noise Fader, Hum Remover and Audio Polish do work. They are difficult to use as each variation needs to be tested and then played. It would work better if a 'live' effect so you can adjust levels while listening.

However, this does not mean the filters do not crash. They do. Often. I always save my project before applying any audio or video filters that require an external render engine outside of VS.

On complex edits, these filters can become a bear. In those cases we rip the audio track with fx separately and import in to project. Always best to NEVER use .vsp files for this task as you can not save as a project file set and they are clunky, cause file corruptions, broken paths, and are otherwise more harm than good.
